New Balance Design Lab

I was brought on board by MPM Team to lead the development of a cutting-edge application for New Balance Australia. The project centered around creating a fully functional website that empowers users to design and personalize their own clothing items with ease. Through a variety of customization options—including different styles, colors, patterns, and the ability to add logos, graphics, and numbers—users were able to create garments tailored to their preferences. This feature was particularly popular among sports teams, and the platform saw thousands of users take advantage of these customization capabilities.

As the development lead, I oversaw the entire project, managing the development team and ensuring smooth communication between the design and development departments. The team was composed of a Frontend Developer, who focused on the user interface, and a Backend Developer, who worked with Strapi for content management. I was responsible for managing the development workflow, coordinating with the AWS team for seamless deployment, and spearheading the creation of all 3D elements on the website using Three.js.
